Wouldn’t it be sweet if baseball could swap season ending series?
For example, the Cubs already won their division and home field advantage. The Florida Marlins are out of the playoffs. However, the Cubs are scheduled to play the Brewers and the Mets the Marlins. Wouldn’t it be better if they were to switch series and the Cubs take on the Marlins and the Brewers take on the Mets to determine the wild card. Obviously the Cubs are going to bench their starters giving advantage to the Mets.
Yes. It would allow teams who are losing in the wild card and the division and a chance to determine their own destinies. Kinda liek a 3 game series. It would be cool and more exciting.
