what do you think about the Chicago Cubs baseball team being up for sale?
Not like it hasn’t happened before. This will be the 10th ownership in the 133 year history of the Cubs Franchise though the majority occurred before 1920. Hopefully they have at least as much or more of a will to win then the Tribune Company has. I would love to see the new ownership put former Cub pitcher/radio/t.v. analyst Steve Stone in charge of operations. It could be interesting around Wrigley for the next few years.
EDIT Forgot to mention Cubs owner Sam Zell is already a minority ower of the White Sox which makes his interest in the Cubs against some rules I am sure.
