Does the passage of a dual exhaust to a single exhaust deplete power?
The 1997 Lexus SC300 comes with stock exhaust double. I want to move the plant to a single double JIC Magic cat-back semi-Titanium. Is it my depleting power? In other words, does it need 2jz-ge an exit dual exhaust?
In theory, if the only port allows air circulation even in the double-headers, then you do not see any loss of power, but again, it is in theory. I would say you should stick with the stock, or atleast a dual configuration.
